Tickets will not be available to purchase on the day of the game at Wembley Stadium and all supporters wishing to attend the game must purchase tickets in advance. http://mobile.barnsleyfc.co.uk//news/article/play-off-final-designated-all-ticket.-3124490.aspx
Looks like it might not even be possible to buy from the box office after lunchtime tomorrow Not surprised its all ticket stops Millwall buying at our end but does it mean if you havent a history with BFC you cant now buy?
Some Numpty on the Millwall board posted they had Sold Out needed others to point out there were still loads of blocks in the upper tier with seats - wonder if someone from the Met saw the post title and paniced?
With the best will in the world, it's hard to see any Millwall fans making a 400 mile round trip to queue at our box office. Shame they're not selling Thursday/Friday over the counter - will lose a couple of hundred at least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It doesn't specifically, but; "Tickets will be available to buy online and by telephone up until 12 noon tomorrow (Wednesday). Due to dispatch and postage processing times tickets cannot be sold after this time." I'd take that as that the club aren't & probably never were going to sell tickets in person at the box office. Club just a payment point - Ticketmaster handling the physical distribution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I still think they will do, they just don't want to say so at the moment. The massives must be close to selling out, yet Hull have been allowed to. https://twitter.com/HullCity/status/735065553837117441
This must be the Met. Police who have made this instruction. You can't walk safely through Tower Hamlets, but they will pull out all the stops against an easy target, viz. football fans.
Right, from the box office; "Unfortunately we have no decision on this at the moment. Until ticketmaster close their advance sales at 12 noon on Wednesday we won't know if we can get permission from Wembley for them to send us some tickets up from the Manchester dispatch centre. They granted us permission for the JPT and I believe they are allowing Hull to sell now from their ticket office but we'll just have to wait and see. At this moment we would advise anyone who knows they want to attend to buy a ticket before ticketmaster sales close tomorrow." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thursday/Friday over the counter sales are important, as it gives people the chance to swap their tickets for more together, if other friends or family members have decided to go since they bought them. It always surprises me that people buy right up to the last possible moment, but they do.
