I left Barnsley at the end of the 1960's and since 1971 I have lived in South London. I have watched Barnsley at the Old Den before the segregation of fans and have seen almost all of our appearances at their new ground. I have watched Millwall at Selhurst Park in the 1980's.

I have travelled with their fans forward and back to Barnsley and on trains from various destinations most recently coming back from Burton when loads of them got on at Coventry where they had been beaten.

I have never felt intimidated in the presence of Millwall fans and indeed I have always thought their club is much like ours - down to earth, not much money but proper football people, proper supporters.

Let's be positive about Sunday and enjoy the day. All of us.

    No need to fear.

The only comments I've seen regarding us feeling intimidated or whatever, have come from the Millwall forum.

I really don't get what the fuss is all about. It's a football match and there will be 60 odd thousand there just to watch the football.

When we got promoted to the premiership towards the end of the season I was heading up on the train from London when on got **** loads of Millwall fans who looked a bit hard. We were talking amongst ourselves when they came up to us we thought **** but they just wanted to talk football buy us drinks and congratulate us for sticking it to to the big guns. I'm still mates with some of them now. They are a working class club. They thrive on the stick together cos everyone hates us mentality. They enjoy their own myths. There are a lot of similarities between us and them. Working class deprived area where people have to stick together to survive.

    Onwards and upwards.

Most of those 42 relate to port Vale.

Which is still on going and slowly falling apart at the seams.

Mostly for lack of evidence, trumped up charges..
