despite someone saying yesterday that they had sold out ! just had a look on their forum and they reckon about 25K currently, not sure how long they are on sale though
Got to agree that 25k from a team only a few miles away and who haven't already been this season is pathetic. If the game was at Hillsborough i reckon we'd sell out.
Their attendances are about the same as ours, and although it's only 15 miles away as the crow flies, but 1.5 hours by car, I wouldn't have expected them to sell more than 30,000.
Their fans were whipping up hysteria the other day that they were down to their last few blocks. It could be that they were just misunderstanding their booking system. I looked at it and thought they only had category 5 and 6 tickets left. Having looked at it again, the category 1, 2, 3 and 4 tickets just say 'Tickets not available' whereas the family tickets say 'Sold out'. http://www.seetickets.com/event/sky-bet-league-1-play-off-final-millwall/wembley-stadium/985746
One a half hours to drive from Bermondsey to Wembley? That length of time would see you at Milton Keynes!
Isn't it something like the fifth visit there in seven years? Even for such a close match I suppose you can get bored of the same old. Not the occasion as they will still want to win, but the "shine" of visiting there won't be the same when trips are so frequent. For example if we go up alot of people will be looking forward the most to Villa Park when it comes to away days because our trips there are so few and far between. Compared to making yet another trip to (hopefully) Wednesday.
