A few thousand short of the JPT and a lot below previous Wembley visits that we were never going to get near, still a cracking turnout for a second trip. 259 sold yesterday.
It's a good effort. In a few years it will be a quiz question. Which team took the most fans to Wembley in 2016?
I'm surprised there were 259 people who hadn't already bought. Lets see if there are some pay dayers today, although for most monthly paid people it's surely Tuesday the 31st.
if we not counting England as a team then i would say Man Utd will be the answer, cup semi cup final and community shield to come. What do i win?
Good point. I hereby reword the question to "Which football team took most fans to Wembley in the 2015-2016 season?".
I read on here 2 days ago that Wendy's were at 2.1 million. They would have broken the 5 million mark by now. I reckon it will be them.
got a surplus hotel room in hemel hempstead sunday night 55 pounds , going to cancel it later today unless any barnsley fan wants it
Think its a pretty disappointing turnout if I'm honest. Of the six clubs involved it's likely only AFC Wimbledon will have sold less!
We are the only club to have gone twice in six weeks, each family paying a few hundred pound at least already.
Im paid monthly and its always the last Friday of the month so in this case today Previous job I was paid on the first working day after the 25th No set rule Already got my ticket - its amazing what you can do with a visa card -
Yes understand that, and all the other reasons given, but even without that game I'm not sure we would have taken many more. It would be interesting to see what percentage of people that went to the JPT are going this weekend to see if the twice in 6 weeks really is a factor. Not having a go at anyone, I just think its a bit disappointing we can only get 20k to Wembley, even if it is twice.
There's a lot of posts on Twitter and Facebook from people who have already booked holidays. Some big groups as well. A football tour, Fit Reds etc.
