Let's hope we put up a better fight than Wednesday.

I think they put up a very good fight considering they weren't one year out of the Prem, in receipt of parachute money, and managed by a Premier League winner. They left everything on the field, so I say well done to them and their fans.

I thought they didn't play well although I did want them to win as today was a triumph for the money pit of parachute payments. Hull getting payment for failing last season.

Suspect every other chairman in the Championship was probably hoping for a Hull win. Hull's remaining parachute payments get divided between them now, I understand.

I get your point but when you've been playing on the break with no joy and it's the 88th minute, you've got to be taking more risks than they did in a game like that. Equalise in the final stages and they'd have probably gone on and won it as it would deflate the Hull players.

they hardly had a shot at goal. The last 15 minutes were as comfortable for Hull as any other time in the game. It was a one off goal they should have been throwing the kitchen sink at them for the last 10 at least. would have been better if losing 2-0 and going for it in than going out with a whimper

Wednesday have bought themselves to the playoffs, they couldn't afford these expensive players any other seasons.Another team cheating there way up again, sod em am glad they failed and hope they never make the prem, they would be too obnoxious and they do my head in real Madrid wannabes.

I think that ended a few years ago. Money goes back to premier league.

But for Westwood it could have been comfortable for Hull - Wednesday started well but faded after 20 minutes or so

Cheers, all roads lead to PL, it appears. Do they want a proportion of our gate money tomorrow?
