Has a better, bigger goal ever been scored?

The stage? The importance? The fact that we know its not just a one off.. We've seen him do it time and time again. It wasn't just a hit a hope. You just know Adams dreamt about that exact goal since Walsall away and he's pulled it off on the biggest stage. He really is the big game man and in my 19 years following the club he's now my all time favourite BFC player.

Best goal at the new Wembley?

Fingers crossed he stays, because there is something special between him and the fans that he won't recreate elsewhere.

In one of his interviews yesterday he said he watched the Championship final and saw Diamy top his Oxford goal. So he thought he'd better get out there and get an even better one! Gotta love him.

Cracking goal. But not even the best BFC goal in a play-off final - Higgy (Wright og) was better than that.

It wasn't Hignetts goal so I don't know how you can say that. Yes it was a fantastic strike but it missed the target.

Hignett scored one goal at Wembley according to the history books.

I'll word it differently then. The first goal for Barnsley against Ipswich was a better goal. Better? An excellent shot

It was a fantastic strike but it hit the crossbar. It was an own goal.

All about opinions anyway and that goal on that stage with that result is the biggest and best goal I have seen.

I've got to agree that the goal was top class and the context makes it even better.

As someone who is a bit long in the tooth, I recall Joe Hayes scoring a screamer against Rochdale under lights at Oakwell back in 1965. the fact that I remember it after 50 years probably makes it a bit special. I don't suppose many people will be able to back me up on this one.

It's possibly the best I've seen.

Not the best goal at the new Wembley, that was actually scored by a Millwall player a few years back, can't remember the players name but it's an incredible strike

Incredible strike. Everyone knew it was in has soon has he hit it.. Other beauty's I've seen in flesh that rank up there were Barnard's against Huddersfield and JCR's against Donny.. And the best one ever was Trevor Sinclair's against us

Interesting you should say that, as from where I was sitting directly behind it, it looked as if it was going over, before dipping and swerving viciously at the last minute.
