I believe. The FA, Wembley and Met Police has seriously failed in their duty of care towards supporters within the ground. For this to happen at the national stadium is unbelievable. I'd urge all ticket holders to join together and get some serious legal advice. Maybe from Maurice Watkins.
Totally agree Thing is you knew it would happen if we were to win the game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Think everyone knew it was going to happen at some point in that exact area, apart from the Police. Why it took them so long to show a presence was a joke.
Is the contract with the Football League Limited who seem the contracted party on the tickets? I don't know who would be the organisation that the contract between the supporters and the 'org' would be. Would be interesting (and i guess support a claim) if anyone used the Anti Social Text Service stated on the tickets. Be an interesting test case if someone does. It appeared to me that as fans were moving away from the trouble, stewards were directing them back to their seats.
I would imagine they've got a cut and dried claim for a refund anyway. They paid for certain seats and not able to watch the game from them
Compensation ! And you wonder why everything costs so much. If someone was injured fair enough , get a solicitor to get the cctv footage but no need for anyone else to claim.
So trauma suffered by children and old folk, the safety of innocent fans put at risk isn't grounds for a claim? Not in the legal game, are you mate? Neither am I. But having worked for major public institutions and being responsible for certain health and safety/security audits, I'm familiar with responsibility and liability issues.
It may have been upsetting but trauma is a bit ott. Too much claiming for everything , they could refund ticket costs for people sat there and that would be the best course of action for fans .
