I felt like the football league really let themselves down with the entertainment compared to what johnstones organised
Agree 100%. The JPT *build up was superb. Yesterday was as if it was just a standard game. Weird. We made our own entertainment though, after a minute or so..... *cheerleaders
We said this also Wasn't half as good as jpt. We were looking forward to the build up due to our last visit and it was a let down
I know - where were the two pissed up lads getting nowhere near chipping a football into a massive tin of magnolia emulsion?? Shabby.
They were replaced with 20k fans fighting over an iron bru t-shirt being fired Into the crowd!!!!!!!! Shabby
If they had put those big inflatables up like Johnstones did some Millwaaw wide boy would have just thrown a big dart from the top tier to deflate ours
Did anybody else think the PA system was borrowed from Oakwell? Strange as I recall it being very good for the JPT.
This also. The music played as players walked up steps sounded as though it could've been decent but wasn't clear enough
It was rubbish, I couldn't hear a word anyone said. I was looking forward to seeing the inflatables again with the badges but it wasn't to be unfortunately.
The entertainment is the 90 mins of football...I couldn't give a toss about about pre match or half time bull...singers.. dancers...jugglers ..celebrities...opening or closing ceremonies...confetti streaming from the roof or glorified barbecues that explode in flames...... it's all b****cks. Sorry but I'm just a miserable old t**t that loves the football for what it is.
Don't think I could find a negative about yesterday with a magnifying glass, Sherlock Holmes and that Indian fella who tracks Butch and Sundance.
never even noticed. not really interested in inflatable paint pots, fire and 13 year old cheerleaders. probably the 3rd best day of my life
