    Contracts offered to Adam Hammill, Aidy White, Jak McCourt and George Williams.

    Well Paul Heckingbottom and Adam Hammill both go on holiday today.

    Adam posted pics on his instagram of his family setting off to the airport.

    I wouldn't expect too much news for the next 2 weeks or so.

    I'm sure a list has been drawn up if not released. We're already several weeks behind others due to play-offs so wouldn't want to get further behind. It's not as if Hecky's going to go on holiday and let players leave behind his backed while he lies on a beach!!

    I'm not sure that we will actually see one but I think it is football league rules that a retained list has to be handed over to the football league (or pfa or something ) by a certain date.

    Have their always been retained lists? I've only noticed them the last few years

    Always had them in recent years as long as I can remember and are always released to the public.

    I'd imagine Hammill, White & Williams will have received new contract offers, and are currently 'under consideration'. The option to extend Jak McCourt's contract by a further year will have been taken. Digby will be off to Ipswich, for an 'undisclosed fee'.

    I can't imagine it'll happen today, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Nyatanga and Ryan Williams depart, before the new season begins.

    Is the 'retained list' a relatively new phenomenon? I don't remember these appearing that long ago but now it seems to be something which is expected.
