Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Regarding Laughable ballux onei am told that our police actually have no powers to do that which found quite interesting
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Millwall fan knocked out 17:50, Jesus, he was a big un. They had to push the Barnsley lad over the seats, he wasn't going down with a punch.
Whilst lack of any police presence is obvious, its also bad planning by Wembley/Ticketmaster/Football League. Why couldn't those fans at that side be put in the middle of the top tier, well clear of Millwall fans?. Millwall will as usual get a fine and that's about it sadly. FA and Football league don't have any balls to do anything more than that.
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Aye, must be plenty of give in them seats that fat lovely person rolled through, sithi.
That big soft sothern **** cheap shots the Barnsley lad from behind the lad turns round and knocks him out and he falls down a load of rows of seats. The lad then gets ran at by another milwall and in end gets pushed down row of seats himself. Fair play to the blokes who stood there ground heavily out numbered. Typical southerners though cheap shotting and running at family areas milwall are famous for it.
7.50 - didn't know the celebrated hollywood filmstar and renowned director woody Allen was a wall fan, the potty mouthed wrong 'un , sithi.
Awful, I can't believe the lack of protection for those stewards and fans for so long. Brave folk. Calgary Tykes on 11.20 if you haven't seen it, canucks
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. South Yorkshire Police seem to have a big say so in what happens in Oakwell. Its a cop out from the Met. There will have been a pre match meeting between Football League Reps, Police , Stadium Security and Health And Safety. It seems they all overlooked the obvious consequences of this seating arrangement.
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Top marks to the Stewards though !!
Absolute *****. The Police have the legal right to make stipulations on ticketing and segregation etc
If the police have a copy of that video it is clear enough to enable them identify lots of the main troublemakers on the Millwall side. It also highlights the fact that the Barnsley fans were on their own side and making no attempt to get past the stewards. In fact most of the time there was a clear gap between the Barnsley fans and the stewards who were occupied facing down the Millwall thugs and the Barnsley fans only engaged with the Millwall lot if and when they broke through the cordon and in self defence. The later stages the Barnsley fans were running from the thugs. The latter stage showed one old Barnsley chap with a crutch being helped away from the area and men and women with kids going down the exits whilst the game was still on. No way any Barnsley fans should be held to account for that. Plenty of Millwall idiots should (but probably won't ) be getting a knock on the door soon. The video DOES highlight what everyone has been saying i.e. the police were incredibly slow to respond. As has also been said, that steward (big black guy at the top), deserves an award for the bravery he showed in standing up to the thugs especially as he kept his cool and in spite of major provocation never threw a punch, even in self defence but put himself on the line. Wold be nice if the club could identify him and pass on a formal letter of thanks to him and all those stewards who went above and beyond considering how they were let down by the Met. About time Millwall were called to account.
Well done!! This needs copying and pasting as many times as possible by as many people as possible on as many accounts as possible until it's been acknowledged Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Seconded! Not being there and missing the day, the hand held shots and closeness to the Barnsley fans and personal viewpoint really captured the atmosphere in a way the polished TV coverage never can. Decent quality too given he was there to enjoy the day not to make a pro-video. I ended up with 'something in my eye' ;-) at least three times watching that. Hecky lifting the cup in front of the fans near the end finally did for me. Filling up just thinking about it. Great souvenir capturing a great day for BFC. U Redz
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. ********. Wembley stadium has three tiers, meaning there are six possible places opposition fans can come into contact, except there were no Barnsley fans on one side of the top tier, and then the seats around the tunnel and the VIP Box are club Wembley, so nobody can meet there either. Of the remaining three places, where are Millwall fans most likely to attack? the place where they outnumber the opposition ten to one or elsewhere? ****ing stupid. They didn't even have to deploy en masse. Six or so rozzers right at the start might have been enough to prevent it escalating until more bodies arrived.
Re: Cheers for posting that - have shared my thoughts with the Met Police. Any news of the numpties being identified yet. I wonder when this minority has gone, if yet another 'small minority' will appear as it has for years.
Millwall scum are putting it about since the game that Barnsley fans ran away. No Women and kids ran away in terror Watch the video. Reds fans stood their ground The big Millwall troll was knocked down several rows of seats. I was on Oakwell (Olympic)Way and saw the earlier flashpoints, and that was only toothless peed up drugged up scum waving their tentacles at us. We just laughed at them. Then the fabulous Met took down a Millwall fan who could hardly stand, about 70 year old, took 4 of them to restrain him. On the concourse we were threatened and abused but gave it back-come on then! Amazingly they slunk off-tossers My prediction: Nothing will be done to punish the scum club Nothing will be done about Harris calling for a hostile atmosphere No banning orders will be given It will all be quietly swept under the carpet. Top marks to the guys on the top tier who defended their families and didn't run The guy in the grey shirt, he's my hero
To be perfectly honest all this 'we held our won't 'we gave as good as we got' 'we gave a good account of urselves' ******** that I've seen on here and on Facebook is just as pathetic as the scum Millwall fans and says a lot about a lot of people. The ones who used common sense and left the area are the ones who did the right thing. The SCUM Barnsley fans who enjoyed fighting (yes some did) are just as bad and just as much as a disgrace as the Millwall fans and are a blight on our club. That video shows quite a few Barnsley fans in a very bad light in my opinion
