Im certain after this seasons heroics that BFC have gone a long way to securing and capturing the next generation.

Seeing so many families at our 2 Wembley visits was brilliant. The aim now must be keeping these young uns watching the Reds. I think over recent times theyve made great strides and the ST offers etc are wonderful. Id really love to see a massive effort to finally have the 'matchday experience' we were promised a good few seasons ago. To create this should be a drop in the preverbial ocean compated to the on field miracles weve performed.

It's been years since BFC have had any real heroes for the young kids to look up to. They'll all be running round the park this summer arguing over who's Adam Hammill!

My 7 year old daughter has a ST for next year, never been to a match, but can name 7 starters from Wembley and thinks Hammill is ace.

My 9 year old daughter adores Conor after meeting him at the half term tours, which have been brilliant. When she plays for her school team she wants to be him and she can name them all and give them nicknames. She hasn't stopped talking about it all yet so this season has really reignited her passion as previous season have left her less interested. I keep telling her how lucky she has been.

Just one thing that really really annoyed me about Sunday

While most of us had a great day and I expect we have got quite a lot of new fans interested spare a thought for those in block 501

I Watched the footage of Millwall thugs attacking our families in the upper tier
One bit where you could see a dad leading his 2 young sons into the exit

We are 3-1 up and heading for a great victory bit instead of savouring the moment and getting another family hooked they are running in fear and their day is ruined

And who could blame the dad if he decides he isnt taking them back . I know quite few families left to escape the thuggery and it makes me extremely angry

That's the key ,Match day experience.
Got to look past the I'm only their for the football etc posters,
Everything should now be aimed at families,
A decent information board with acknowledgements etc going on hand in hand pitchside entertainment.

Fed up of hearing things like ". don't spend money on score/information board spend it on players we know what scoor is " or " o dunt watch pre match entertainment I'm in pub while just after kick off "
Its time we had a family atmosphere imo

My 12 year old lad has had a season ticket with me since he was 7 and with his grandad for the past 2 years(since im not medically fit enough to go at the min), but always said he supported Chelsea, Man City or whoever was winning the Prem at the time. Since the second half of this season, he has really connected with the club and fallen in love with it in a big way.

After Sunday, he went to his bedroom, and came down with a black bin bag filled with loads of Prem team shirts, merchandise and general tat and binned the lot. He has spent the last few days working watching all my old BFC videos and DVD's and working on a blog that he wants to start so he can document his newfound adoration for our club!

For this, Hecky and the team are forever in my debt!

the perception amongst many parents is that football grounds are not very safe places.

As long as the swearers and cursers think that yelling bad language is 'part of the game' families will be put off from coming to matches.
