Surprised they've let McCourt go. Reckon they'd have offered him a deal if we'd have not gone up.

Jak would have stayed if we were in League 1.

Does this mean that Hecky has accepted the Job? Surely he's had at least some input on the retained/released decisions

we've not really seen much of McCourt i guess but as a regular on the bench he must have been doing something ok in training. bigger picture is he probably wasnt going to get much of a look in the championship

I think it was probably accepted a while ago, but kept quiet.

He looked cool and composed on the ball in his few sub' appearances, but I trust the club's opinion. With Scowen filling in at right-back, he didn't really have any competition to get a place on the bench, though.

No mention of Digby - is he still under contract?

We could end up with money for Digby so I doubt they would release him.

Surprised about McCourt. Looked a character, but then didn't see that much of him on the pitch.

Yeah I'm surprised about Mccourt too. I'm taking it as a positive though - we're going to adjust our plans for being in he league above

maybe hes too much of a lad and disruptive to the other pros? who knows. He was always acting abut like a 14 year old when i saw him on the pitch.

Only via a sell-on clause if so, as it was reported a while back that a potential free transfer to Ipswich had been agreed when he went on loan.

Exactly we should wait until we have a permanent boss and let them deal with who they want to release and offer contracts to :D

The fact that we have let McCourt go (although I would of kept him for depth) is probably a promising thing. It clearly shows ambition that we feel we can bring in better.
