He had a decent Big Bash in Australia this year. Not done the business so far this season.

Are you joking me. Surely you're on some sort of wind up.

Rashid's a very very good white ball player. One of the leading if not leading wicket takers in the Big bash, another wise known the second best T20 Tournament for non international teams in the world.

Pretty much any team in the country would take him.

Another poor performance. Root got no help at all from anyone with the bat. Aaron Lilley played really well with the ball for Lancs. Does the same every saturday single handedly taking Delph and Dobcross to the top of the Drakes Premiership.

I have, Rashid was a little short today for me but he's still a very good player.

It's not Adil that's got a problem for me it's the team. So manay players that are either out of form or not sure how to play the format. Need more power like Lanks have in the middle.

Embarrassing to sit in amongst the Lancy fans and feel it from start to finish. Weren't competetive from start to finish. Only Roots nice knock was a concelation and even he looked pissed off

Watched it on Sky and it had to be the most pointless 90 score ever. If one or two others had chipped in with 40s we might have been ok.

Decision to buy a T20 season ticket again is looking like a poor decision. Poor against Leicester and Worcester. Better tonight but still not good enough. The background "entertainment " is starting to annoy me as well. Every time I looked at the scoreboard last week there was some puerile Twitter message up there.

I think one of the sky commentators pointed to our biggest problem being the fact that we never play the same team week to week. Without finch or maxwell our biggest power hitter is a bowler

After we bowled the first over we looked up against it. When we batted it took 3 overs before we started dropping off the pace and then started losing wickets. We never hit enough 6s and unfortunately this is what 20-20 is all about. Interesting Lancs had significantly different field placing than is and I think that also made a difference

Yes, and who bowled that first over? Joe Root, and went for 13! Strange decision that.

Alex Lees might well be the next up and coming England opener (according to Geoffrey Boycott) but he's not experienced enough to captain Yorkshire yet. Giving him that role for the T20 matches could prove disastrous.

It was a better all round performance than last week against Leicester but still not good enough.

    If it's not on Sky
Hemmsy won't give it a try

We seem to be one of the few teams who just can't adjust to T20, we have been embarrassingly bad at times Somehow we end up patting it about too much with proper cricket shots ( maybe that's why we are so good at the long game).
This season though, too many players still struggling for good form in general plus injuries to key players ( Sidebottom injured warming at football ffs).

To be fair Root often opens the bowling for England. I take the point about Lees but I'm not sure who the other contender is. Williamson would be ideal but he's not here yet. I still think the problem is we have to many players out of form. We're winning championship games because of individual performances down the order but in T20 the game has gone by the time we get down that far.

I don't know what our club strategy is for T20. We try big hitting imports and aren't too good. Home grown talent and aren't too good. I'm not sure as a club which direction we want to take.
