Darren Barnard spoiled all these polls in 1998 when he cracked in that volley against Huddersfield. It was just too good.

If Barnard's had been scored in a world cup finals the experts would deem it a contender for greatest goal of all time.

My all time top three for us -

    1) Barnard v Huddersfield
    2) Thompson v Stoke 96-97
    3) Hammill v Millwall (Wembley)

Actually I've just realised I remember a goal even better than Barnard's - it was Trevor Aylott's chip from just outside Oakwell Sandwich Shop against Brighton in the early eighties.

Now that WAS a goal! At the time it seemed like a happy accident but the replays showed he actually looked up to see the keeper off his line. He knew exactly what he was doing. Great presence of mind and fabulous execution.

Bloody Darren Barnard ending debates like this. That Aylott goal was beautiful though a thing of art, precision and joy.

Discos dipping volley away at Plymouth?

Surely some of Connors efforts must maketh a top 20. Most of mine have already been mentioned.

Also Shezs chip at home v someone.
Agnews freekick away ar West Ham int 5-2 cup win.
Coopers goal v Stoke at home after Curries back heel and his celebration is iconic for us.
    Moses volley v Norwich
    Archie int cup v Leicester

Bit pissed last night when I did this thought I had deleted it because the poll wouldn't work lol.

I seem to remember polls in the past where members could add their own option if it wasn't on, but maybe I dreamt it, or was just too pissed to do it.

The five I started the poll with we're gonna be

    Hammil v millwall
    Archdeacon v leicester
    barnard v hudders
    Hignett v walsall
    howard v Liverpool
