Went for a nice two hour walk in the sunshine down to Kirkstall Abbey and along the river.

Off down South again for me tomorrow. Visiting family in Chesterfield until Thursday then off to Manchester to see AC/DC. Then up to Malton N Yorkshire to visit a mate who is a Blade. Saturday a day on the drink in York. Then back home to sunny Dundee next Sunday.

    A busy week ahead.

Did you know that on this day in 1984 Born In The USA was released.

I'm sure you do but just in case it slipped your memory I thought I'd remind you.

Really looking forward to the Euros...yes I know England will probably be toss, but hopefully teams will approach the tournament with the kind of football that was played in Brazil during the last big tournament...If you didn't enjoy that you're dead inside and no lover of the game.

I can't remember much about it, to be honest, but that doesn't make me those things that you accuse me of. It just means that I don't watch too much of international tournaments. Same goes for European matches. Obviously there is a bit of stardust sprinkled throughout all these things but you have to wade through a lot of sterile stuff to get to it.

I'd rather watch Barnsley on a cold wet Tuesday night than sit in front of the television watching trained actors throwing themselves around with tragic looks on their faces.
