The Millwall supporters chairman is still pointing the finger at Barnsley fans.Comments like "there were no Barnsley fans in the upper tier until the second half. When they arrived they started throwing bottles".Comments like " It was both Barnsley and Millwall as you can see in the footage".Now I'm very proud of my club and town but if my fellow supporters had broke through the dividing barriers to get at Millwall supporters I'm sure they would have been lambasted by all and sundry.People would be more sympathetic to the Millwall problem if Millwall themselves took responsibility and stopped blaming everybody else.
I had one on Twitter saying we never sold tickets for the upper tier. Funnily enough he never backed down even after showing him the following. https://twitter.com/bfcboxoffice/status/734664176384266240
I saw one Barnsley fan doing that "come on" gesture and one fan responding to a cowardly attack and that was it, the rest was Millwall.
Well, I have 3 tickets for block 501 to prove their Supporters' Chairman wrong (as have a few hundred other Reds fans)! He could also have checked that out with Wembley to get his facts right.
Is he for real? He's making statrments like that without checking any facts. I've got a receipt for 7 upper tier tickets if the silly tw@t wants to see it.
