    Paper speculation, nowt 'else. If he wants to go, he'll go. Clubs never keep players against their wishes - Stones could just sit on the bench with a titty-lip on and watch his value plummet. Everton won't want that. He might go, he might not, but I suspect the Mirror know as much about it as you or I.

    he could have done that last time, to be fair. i don't think it's in john stones' nature or his interest, to start playing that game.

    they have no probs with stupid money bids... and TBH if the bid gets above the £50 Mill mark then Everton will crumple like a Burtons suit and grab hold. Then we will find out about the much debated sell on clauses we have or maybe do not have... :p

    the England Wales game could be a big selling night for Stones

    supposing he totally makes Bale look like an amateur... then he will definitely be sold at a HUGE price... but beyond that if he has a good tournament then he will be moving home....... which I really think is what's gonna happen.

    i think that could play a much bigger factor. they hounded him last time round and gave him unbelievable grief, even though he stayed. then they turned on him in no time, after he had a few bad games. i doubt he will think he owes the club or the fans a thing
