Top class - AGAIN Wifey rang today for an XL Home shirt this morning and was told they were expecting a delivery this afternoon and someone would ring her back when they come in. True enough, around 2pm they rang wifey to let her know they had arrived and that they'd put one behind the till for collection, wifey went down and picked it up at 4pm.................sweet Excellent service and another case of BFC showing how well our club is run on and off the field Many thanks for everything Jill................. Beth is amazing! But then again, Matt and Vicky and all the others work hard to keep the customer satisfied. They do a great job.
You'd look miserable if you were inundated with ridiculous and stupid questions 24/7 via social media.
Yes and believe me they do have some proper numpties to deal with, both in the shop and the ticket office, on a daily basis. The last time I was in, there was a bloke trying to buy a ticket for his missus to sit next to him at the Walsall home leg of the play offs. He was a season ticket holder and didn't want to move seats but there was no spare seats next to his seat. He just couldn't get the fact that to sit with his wife they had to pick 2 different seats, somewhere else in the stand/ground, of which there was plenty available. I honestly think he wanted the box office staff to ring up and move whoever had bought the seat(s) next to him so that his wife could sit there. Thick as pig **** some of 'em
No. She hasn't got time to be miserable, for running round like a blue arsed fly (for 12 hours a day over the last 3 months) since they got rid of most of her colleagues!!
Don't take this the wrong way but what does she/they do that keeps them so busy? The club shop is always dead whenever give been in it. Is it the ticket office and queries that makes up all the time?
Well they would have to answer that but I know there's not many of them to start with and they now do the shop and the ticket side of things. So normally it will be selling stuff in the shop and sorting out match and coach tickets for both home and away games, plus from the start of April selling season tickets; and obviously since we got to the JPT final mid March, up to the end of the season, it's been absolutely manic on both fronts with all the wembley stuff to sell and sort, twice over. Beth is also involved with all the 'fan engagement' stuff and I think I'm right in saying she does all the BFC social media updates for FB, twitter etc.
I'm not sure why but I always assumed you bought coach tickets from one of the other offices in the ponty end. They'd be best off installing some kind of ticket machine in the front of the club shop so people can stick their card in and buy a ticket like they do at places like cineworld
Good idea! (Beth are you reading this?!) No they do all the officlal coaches stuff themselves, so that was a big job both times for Wembley, and although the tickets for both games were handled by Ticketmaster the staff were dealing with a lot of the queries, plus selling tickets through the box office to the disabled and their carers etc.
As far as I am aware she geets it on the club page, her own personal page AND in BFc groups she's also part of. Not to mention Twitter and I guess BFC have Instagram too? She deserves a medal, or a pay rise.
