Some good players in there. Some lads also in that lineup that will never play a professional game.

to be fair, this shouldn't be an impressive statistic. if manchester united can't develop their U21s to league football, there's something seriously wrong.

Im struggling to recognise more than seven.

Three of them played for us.

Giz a clue what irrelevant point you are trying to make

Just think people should look at u21 sides at the top level before taking a view. They are good team and that was a weak team with their players been with the first team.

I would love to see Janko at Oakwell, thought he was brilliant.

The thing is I'm not interested in watching a reserve team or whatever it's called now and I don't think I'm alone in saying that.

He's not really the only one to make a new thread on something already discussed. We get about five threads a day on the same topic.

    It's hardly the same topic.

I thought i'd post this for three reasons.

*A lot of them will be familiar to football fans i'd have thought. Like I say a lot of them have played for Manchester united or barnsley in the last 24 month. 3 of them have played and ones signed for the club and sure would have played if not for a bad injury last season.

*The strength of some of them premier league clubs. That team beat Barnsley that day and was missing u21 players either with the first team or or on the bench.

*I thought Maybe some might think it would be a good idea if Barnsley signed x,y or z. Like I'd said above I thought Saidy Janko was excellent for them and would fit the Isgrove role really nice. That type of player rather than a Hammill for example.

Let me get this straight, you would prefer an untried Man Utd u21 player rather than Hammill? Have I got that right?

    Did I say that?

I was comparing style's so stop looking for the attack on me and read what i've put.

Would I prefer Saido Janko to Hammill? Maybe yes. Can't see Celtic queuing to sign the former Huddersfield wide player can you

So just be truthful and say that's exactly what you meant.
Unbelievable. Nice bottle of wine and Indian for me. I've done.

Rothwell failed at Blackpool and failed at Oakwell I don't see a glittering career for him. Pearson is OK not quite as good as Brownhill but potential to develop.

I have zero interest in watching a reserve reserve team along with most sane humans.
