I haven't seen this posted anywhere before, so I thought I'd mention it - now that we've come back down to Earth after a brilliant result. For Fletcher's goal against Millwall in the second minute at Wembley, did anyone else notice that Winnall came back from an offside position (about 5 yards offside) to win the header to set Fletcher up??? If you freeze the video at the moment Davies kicks the ball upfield, I'm sure Winnall is offside. What do others think? :nails: I know it doesn't matter now, and it may even things up for Isgrove's goal against Walsall that was disallowed when he was actually onside, but I'm surprised no-one's mentioned it. I've left it until now as I didn't want to spoil the aftermath of the Wembley win!!
No one's mentioned it because you can't be offside from a goal kick. http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/laws/football-11-11/law-11---offside.aspx
What we need is a thread about the pointlessness of freezing the season ticket prices months after we were told about it. BRING IT ON !!
Maybe we need a thread on the rules of the game. It might prove useful to some of the incompetent refs and their assistants we have had to endure the last few seasons.
Just to continue to the thread .... Millwall's free kick in the first minute ... does anyone else think it shouldn't nave been?
