New keeper? Thought Davies was fantastic in the second half of the season

Seriously, did you not turn up for the second half of the season, Davies was awesome. Give some credit when it`s due.

He's a good shot stopper. Rest of his game is poor

Far to early to say but I bet at least 5 of the starting 11 you mention won't be at the club

Well that's what vocal usually is. Unless he does sign language that we all miss

I don't understand this team. It's full of players who belong to other teams while the players we have are either missing or in the wrong positions. I'm lost.

So we need a new keeper because Davies is a good shot stopper which a goal keeper is actually paid to do and because you can't hear him shouting over the top 9000 fans.

As for crosses I do not recall being worried everytime a cross comes in due to his inability to deal with it.

Best keeper we have had for years, stil Young and improving constantly. Tel me who we could afford that is better than Davies, yet stil has potential to get even better

I still think Davies was fantastic last year during second half of the season - how can he be bad when we conceded as few goals as we did - yes the back four were steady but they were confident knowing if Davies had to pull off a save he would. Free kick v Walsall first game, save from Bradshaw header two great saves at Wembley at crucial times , penalty shoot outs - he's grown more and more confident game by game.

As for rest of his game when was last time he flapped at a cross or fumbled one - for me he's a great keeper and one of last season's most improved players

I think folks have missed the '?' here!

Simply asking whether the team might look like that, given Williams, Hammill and White have yet to re-sign. The team I'd like to start with would be:

    Davies

    Williams Roberts Mawson White

    Isgrove Hourihane Scowen Hammill

    Winnall Fletcher

Subs: Yiadom, Townsend, Moncur, Jackson, Bree, Khan, Watkins

This is obviosly a wind up, square pegs in round holes. Why would you play Moncur as a striker snd Mawson in midfield. Isgrove and Beevers not our players. No Hammill and Digger returns. Agree with others with that side we would be relegated.

I would be happy to see Moncur join, Hammill, Aidy White and G.Williams. After that I feel we need to add quality and experience in key areas my targets would be
Back up keeper - Joe Lewis (free agent)
Full back - Tommy Spurr (free agent)
Centre Half - Kevin Long (Burnley)
Central Midfield - David Meyler (Hull)
    Winger - Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton)
Forwards - Paddy Madden (Scunny) and Ashley Fletcher (Man U)

Selection will depend on who we play.

Why would anybody leave Watkins on the bench and play Moncur, if he signs, up front.

Like the look of those targets. The only player out of those lot that I don't think could do it at Championship level is Paddy Madden. Top League 1 player, don't get me wrong. Looking at last season's top scorers, realistically I would only like Nicky Ajose. We wouldn't get Adam Armstrong permanently and obviously Billy Sharp won't be at Oakwell anytime soon. The rest in my opinion are top League 1 forwards.

I really hope we sign Ashley Fletcher permanently as well. With it being a different kettle of fish, it may take him a little longer to get used to the standard of football than it did last season. He's got really good potential for that league has the lad and in a few years, expect him to be scoring 20+ goals. If it's not for us, it's for a side that have paid us a good few million to get him.

Really can't see that we will get Hammill or Fletcher back with other teams probably able to offer 50% more than us. Meyler and Long are probably also out of our price range. Tommy Spurr? Really? !!!

I think it'll all go weird when Hecky signs his contract. It'll be an exodus of players. Cryne will push money onto the team and make signings on 5 year contracts.

    GK Sam Johnstone
    Ryan McLaughlin
    Michael Morrison (c)
    Kevin Long
    Charlie Taylor
    Lloyd Isgrove
    Josh Scowen
    Jake Caskey
    Paddy Madden
    Nick Ajose
    Sam Winnall

    Boom
