It's ignorant if you think they do nothing at the TT to improve safety every year, but that wouldn't suit your agenda.

As Guy Martin said,'motorcycle racing is dangerous,if you dont like it,leave it to those who do and get yourself home and cut the grass'

Ian Bell was killed yesterday racing a sidecar, the race was shown on itv 4 last night, this included footage of Ian,this will not have been broadcast without the consent of his family.People who race motorcycles know the risks, those that dont havnt got a clue what it takes mentally to race a bike, especially on the roads.

moto gp is a completely different kettle of fish and when there is a bad accident/death rider pressure ensures that more safety measure are put in place,to try and prevent a repeat.
Riders who race on the roads have no desire to see their sport strangled by H&S,neither have the spectators. Thanks to road racing being in ireland and the IOM,us that do enjoy it can do so without interfering busy bodies.

Did I say that? Your'e just making stuff up now .What agenda I only said they make more fuss over horses being killed that's all how's that an agenda.
I also appreciate they keep tying to make things safer, but if you think it's acceptable that so many people turned up for a sport that will now be going home in a box that's unbelievable.
If you really want ignorant please see your original statement which quite frankly beggars belief! Not happy with that you have to start with the fkwit personal stuff and try to justify your statement by saying its better than dying a slow lingering death like all the ones killed had terminal illness.

No, but then that wasn't what I was responding to. Im not sure how you'd make street racing safer. Just let them get on with it. If they need to protect owners of the houses or spectators that's a different question.

You need to learn how to use the internet before you start spouting anymore sh*te. That was a reply to Supertyke.

I don't have to justify anything to you, thanks.

big changes have been made over the years with regards to spectators and where they can view from.On many corners the public have been moved further and further away from where they used to be able to watch. Also more stringent speed limits are in place, when it says 30mph they mean it,not plus 10% and all that, get caught driving dangerously and you are in big trouble.Having said this, the other side of IOM policing see's traffic officers having bikers do burn outs, wheelies and pretend grand prix starts on Douglas promenade, its a different world from what we have over here and mutual respect is shown by both the bobbies and the public alike.
Last time i was on douglas sea front the main copper told me and my mate that the uk has forgotton how to police and that political correctness has made the job much harder.

Here's a thought if you come on a forum for ADULTS making controversial statements, don't be surprised if somebody picks you up on it and if they do and you don't agree with it , instead of lippy gobshite like learn to use the internet calling somebody a f****wit or accusing them of spouting ***** try defending it in an ADULT way . You obviously couldn't because somewhere along the line it got changed to rather than a lingering death.
And wow fancy somebody on a discussion forum having the nerve to ask you to justify a stupid (imho) statement, how fking outrageous can you get.

go on then which f**kwit don't I like -you should learn how to use the internet mate

Either way you posted an opinion that I didn't agree with and said so in a reasonable manner it was you who realised that you couldn't defend it and resorted to various personal juvenile type abuse.

Good point, I missed out a word. "Act"

I have nothing to defend, if you don't like my opinion then that's your problem, not mine.

    Get over it.

You don't read this board enough...I've been campaigning for years to get mountain climbing banned...I think any mountain over 5m high should only be attempted with proper scaffolding and hard hats...any gradient over 30% high vis vests should be worn.

If you ban this you have to ban boxing and MMA as well.

    And horse racing/three day eventing.

    And ski jumping.

And all the other dangerous sports.
