    The centre halves have been decent to be fair. And Stonesy has had a horrendous season.

    There's a couple of questionable selections in that England line up, but Stones' exclusion isn't one of them in my opinion.

    cant help thinking vardy would have been on the end of some of those balls into the box

    It's a myth that Stones has had a horrendous season. He's made several mistakes leading directly to goals, these have been highlighted time and time again. I saw the stats for things like tackles made, fouls concede, passes completed, one on ones won etc. and he compares favourably with the likes of Hummels, Pique, Silva and Bonucci.

    yea points taken but no one talks about his ability to do defence splitting passes

    He was in the top 5 in the premier league for "unforced errors". I thought that was a tennis term. Turns out it's a football stat too.

    I've watched him a fair few times this season and to be honest, he didn't look a patch on the player he was 12 months ago. There's still a good player in there though and a better coach will get the best out of him I'm sure.
