    A very emotional interview. Not just weasel words when he says he listened to his heart, despite having other more lucrative offers.

    Love him to bits. Never mind legend in the making, he's up there now for me - for his attitude as much as his performances.

    Great interview, loved the bit about him house hunting in the area, seems to be totally committed to us now he's made his mind up. A legend already, whatever happens next season.

    I really appreciate how honest he was there. He knows there's more money about and he knows there's bigger club than us but, he said it himself, the relationship with the fans and himself is unbelievable. He won't get that anywhere else.

    Maybe there's a message in that? The message that if the fans get behind the players, even if things are not going too well, the players will appreciate it and respond.

    There's a chance that we might struggle next season, depending on how the rest of the summer goes, so let's not start booing the first time something goes wrong!

    I've always been a proponent of that philosophy. Players talk to one another, if they slag off the club and the fans after leaving it does us no favours.

    That will definitely be the signing of the summer for us.

    The interview is positive too and I'm hopeful we'll see all of the squad next season too (particularly Hourihane and Winnall)

    This is a very emotional interview and it's obvious from listening to him that he has a love for the club and fans. A very exciting season ahead for us with a very talented player. Happy days and looking forward to seeing Adam in a Barnsley shirt again!

    That interview indicates there are still some decent people in football.

    I am blown away to hear him speak like that. I also think he is right, he did make the right decision.

    My optimism for next season is dangerously high!

    What a guy!!! As many have said....an absolute legend. At long last a footballer who has put his love of our club before money. Wonderful. Best signing of the summer. .....and he wants to move into the area. Top top lad.
