    Steven Taylor would be a good experienced head at the back, only 30 so by no means ancient, but will probably get 15 grand a week at least from another Championship club.

    Yep. I didn't believe it for a second but I was very wrong. I'm actually gutted about this. George was one of my favourite stories from last years great season. Came in from non league, did ok but was then excluded from the team, came back in out of necessity and never put a foot wrong and looked by all accounts an accomplished defender! One season out of non league. Think he would have stepped up to championship as he was a solid defender first and foremost.

    Would love to know the real reasons that observer mentioned

    Mmm i wonder if something might have gone off behind closed doors....first mccourt now this ......3 players who we thought had futures at the well......guess all will come out in the wash so to speak....oh to be a fly on the wall......lol

    I had no reason to doubt Observer, but to suggest we'd be releasing Williams seemed a bloody mental thing to say. I still look forward to reading his reasoning.
