England over paid 'super stars' playing against mostly Championship level footballers and we towed like foooking hell
    Really a disappointing display
They don't deserve the brilliant brilliant support that they get

No it wasn't. Just missing clinical touch in final third. If Roy had made right selections, it would have been over by half-time. Had Wales on the rack in the second half. I know football's all about opinions, but yours are genuinely wrong.

Aye, come from behind to win = weak mentality.

When the going gets tough, Nudge throws the towel in. When things go well, Nudge still throws the towel in. :D

    'Mostly championship level'.

Gunter & Robson Kanu. That's it.

Bale one of the best in the world.

Ramsey & Williams 2 of the best in their positions in the league.

Davies, Taylor & Allen all established premiership players.

Ledley, Chester & Hennessey all proven themselves in the premiership.

Let's not lie to prove a point

top of the group, unbeaten, two decent performances. Some poor displays (Kane and Sterling) but not much to complain about.

Other than Bale.which other Wales player would get in England B Team?
There was no inventiveness in midfield whatsoever - Rooney has had his day
Our strikers stood with their feet in concrete as they relied on fullbacks (not skilled midfielders) to launch crosses into the middle
The whole match was painful to watch

There's a lot of truth in that post Nudge.

The usual painful to watch tournament display.

This may seem perverse in the extreme, but I thought the pitch killed the game. It was far far too slow. It needed cutting and watering, like they do at Oakwell!

not sure about the B team but Bale would clearly be in the starting XI and Ramsey probably in the squad in place of Henderson.
    That's about it.

I'm against him playing in midfield, ordinarily. But today he was the best player on the pitch, kept us ticking. In my opinion, of course. I thought Ramsey and Walker were great too.

Not a good game, not a good England performance really and I think Roy set us up negatively as usual. Reminded me of Barnsley under LJ in 2015. But second half was much more appetising.

    Onward we go.

Say what you like about Rooney but no matter where he plays he gives it everything. Generally plays well no matter what position an all.

Genuinely couldn't understand those saying he shouldn't have gone. Nonsense.

Williams & Ramsey would make an England A team never mind a B team.

The rest? You're probably struggling but we're blessed at left back where Wales have two very decent players in Davies & Taylor.

You could also argue that since Klopp's been at Liverpool Allen has been better than both Milner & definitely Henderson

Not sure I agree about Williams and Ramsey.

Their left back was very average today.

Allen is not England international quality.

But then again, few of our own are when they turn up at a tournament.

I prefer Williams to both Cahill & Smalling.

Rooney's doing well in midfield & Wilshere's quality when fully fit but in current form I'd take Ramsey over Alli.

I'm not a big fan of Allen but he's on a similar level to Henderson who's in our squad
