If John Stones wants to leave this summer than it's time to grow a pair and be straight with those in the inner circle at Goodison.

Raheem Sterling 12 month ago did it. people didn't like it but so what. HE wanted to leave and he made the move happen. Robbie Saveage did an atricle on it 12 month ago also.

If I was Everton and he started acting like you want him to, then I'd make him rot in the reserves. No one is bigger than the club, any club.

my point is he happily signed a 5-year contract. as long as he is under contract, he should remain professional. if his form went through the floor and couldn't get a kick, everton wouldn't just be able to offload him because he was surplus to requirements. he would still expect to get paid.

Really, and cause a fuss everyday. He'll have friends at Everton. Maybe the likes of Ross Barkley......... and i'm sure he can chip away at them if he wanted to.

He would be forced out if he wasn't good enough. When you're a football at a club like Everton their will always be clubs that want you.

I don't think he'll be at Everton in August.

Call me an idealist but I don't believe that it ever needs to be that time. I'm proud to be able to look back at my career and say hand on heart that I achieved whatever I achieved without deliberately screwing anyone over to do it. I wish the same for John Stones.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ez-according-departing-captain-s-parents.html

Iker Casillas was forced out Real Madrid by club president Florentino Perez, according to departing captain's parents

It happens at every club. If barnsley haven't done it in the last 12 month or won't do it in the next 12 month then i'd be amazed.

    It's hardly news is it?

News would have been Koeman saying "I'm open to offers for our two best players".

Footballers have the power. If Stones wants to go, he'll find a way.

Koeman could be the perfect manager for Stones. Similar types of players. Southampton had a really strong defence. He respects central defenders. Martinez hasnt got a clue bout defenders. Look at his record at Wigan. He never learned no matter how many beatings they took.

Stones isn't being forced out. He's being held to his contract. He was happy enough to sign it, when he left us in a relegation battle. He'll have to sit it out and run down his contract, if Everton don't want to sell. I like Stones, but excuse me if I don't start crying because everything isn't falling into his lap as he might have hoped.

If i were Everton, I'd cash in quick as poss. They could get way over his value, but that stock will plummet if he has another season like last. :D

Trust me - if someone offers £50m, he'll go.

I never said he was. It was pointed out that he signed a long term contract at Everton and if it was the other way round he wouldn't go. I'm saying look players are forced out.

No, you're saying that he should be nasty, disloyal, immoral and try to force the cancellation of the contract which he happily signed in exchange for a ******* LOAD of money.

But he's not being forced out, it isn't the other way round, so I don't get your point. Long before your time, even before skysports I think, there was this footballer called Marc Bosman... :)

Can you hear that mocking laughter?

It's liverpools owners at the obscene transfer fee a distinctly average player generated
