And they're installing the solar panels after they've cleaned all the birdshit off of every seat.

To be honest no professional or even amateur outfit can expect the paying public to be happy with pre and half time info coming on via a half dead scoreboard

We're gonna look absolutely rubbishy to these Championship clubs visiting with that affair we've got now

Councils got better ones on road sides

Can't understand it , we've a business and spend quite a fare chunk on advertising and the irony is I'd pay to advertise on a good scoreboard that attracted attention

Did similar with Rotherham Utd this year and really pissed off that I couldn't advertise on one at Barnsley

It has already been installed but to comply with planning regulations they have had to use a hi-tec see through screen and frame.

An example of this latest technology is in the picture below..

    Nice isn't it ;)

I don't get why we need a scoreboard anyway. Ffs, I'd hope that anyone in the ground would be able to count the 'chuffin score of the game they're watching and if you really can't wait 90 minutes to find out that the Blunts are losing at Crewe again then use yer mobile.

The current scoreboard's embarrassing so just turn the damned thing off, auction the remaining bulbs as memorabilia and put the replacement kitty towards re-signing Willo.

A scoreboard in the schemes of a business the size of bfc is small potatoe.

It adds professionalism, a feeling of 'in line with the times' and a platform to create extra revenue via advertising and a really good media to inform fans of this that and the other

It's essential in my view ,I mean who needs a washer or a tumble dryer when you got a sink and a clothes line

    Keep up BFC

Scoreboard is simply a common name used much in the way that people get the hoover out even if it's not a hoover.
The club doesn't need a scoreboard, it does however need a video board with huge advertising potential.

agreed. i'm not that ar$ed about one to be honest. but the one we have is embarrassing. if we're not getting a new one we should get shut of the one we have before a ball is even kicked next season.

I don't think anybody needs anything just like a mobile phone , unfortunately everyone's got one so everyone needs and wants one

    We need a scoreboard , that's it , fact .

We're a championship club , advertising and tele etc galore

The local businesses will pay to advertise on it and it is so interactive with the fans

Same here, although on certain minutes it could be either a 6 or an 8 for example so you have to wait for a minute to pass so you can work out which one it is.
