The sooner we start putting down these people the better. Knowing that they only have a prison sentence to endure is no real deterrent to those who want to maim and kill. Next referendum - capital punishment. I bet it would get passed by a huge majority.
If mp's really represented the views of their constituents the death penalty would never have been repealed.
I don't know why we can't give a suspended death sentence then if it is ever returned then a date can be attached. Even this is a greater deterrent worrying that it could happen at some date.
I cannot see how anyone could possibly disagree with that. I wonder if the charge will be just murder. Not sure whether they would just charge him with murder or murder/treason or sedition/terrorism. Either way, I agree there is no distinction between his actions and those acts of terrorism carried out in the name of IS/Jihad and the punishment should be severe and the sentence in line with other terrorist convictions.
Would hope not. No justification to kill someone. It's what distinguishes a civilised from a non-civilised society.
Was actually thinking last night about how surprised I was I havent seen non of these muslim loonies rant on about if this were a murder by a muslim there'd be uproar blah blah. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ironically, it would need an out vote in order to be able to bring back capital punishment. Jo Cox was against both. In the words of her husband, shouldn't the focus be on fighting hatred in all its forms, rather than countering illegal barbarism with legalised barbarism?
Wouldn't be so sure, the older generation would probably vote for it but thankfully the younger generations are a bit more enlightened.
