Re: And the question real is... yep, thats exactly my point, when you seem to be arguing against the multi nationals and a bunch of self serving eurocrats you are deemed to be thick. i honestly have no idea which way the vote will go,but i speak to dozens of people daily that come into my place and i can count on one hand the people who are in the remain camp, the rest, like me are thick as ***** and want out
Re: And the question real is... The TUC is backing REMAIN because they are afraid of a Conservative Government taking away workers rights.........end of But its the role of the TUC and Labour Party to ensure those rights are set in stone - and if the vote is to LEAVE then its up to them to fight for those rights and not rely on the EU for salvation. Small business want to LEAVE Large business want to REMAIN.........ask yourself why.........but before you do just take a look at ASOS at Houghton Main Roundabout near Grimethorpe employing 1000s of zero hour contract eastern Europeans. And that's why Gideon Osbourne wants in..........cheap labour.
Re: And the question real is... That's at least three questions to my knowledge. Leave campaign exaggerating again.?
Re: And the question real is... Labour won't do that ,too many small conservatives in their ranks. TUC only look out for their members
Can't wait for this whole shitstorm to be over. "Oh we should stay because of this" "Oh no that's wrong something something TEN BILLION cuts/corporations/taxpayers money" Just **** off. Everyone has a counter-argument for EVERYTHING. There's no middle ground or room for anyone to admit there might be something positive about the other side of the argument. Stick your FACTS™, statistics, quotes and everything else up your ********.
Re: And the question real is... Frensh finance minister today says we will become a small island like Guernsey if we leave. Really??? 5th biggest economy in the world reduced to the size of one of the channel islands. Wow!! Who would have thought it? PS last time I looked France is actually the 6th largest so behind Britain and locked into the crumbling eurozone.
Re: And the question real is... Those immigrants you talk about save our lives, deliver our babies, perform our transplants and run our research projects. Because they graft like hell in countries that don't value them and then come here because they think we might value their services. We spend so long looking outwards for the reasons for our problems we forget that we should be looking inwards at ourselves and our attitudes to others.
Re: And the question real is... That's two questions. I'm glad you don't run the country, not sure I'm even sure you should be allowed on the internet unsupervised.
Re: And the question real is... The migrants nudge makes reference to are the unskilled labourers from Poland etc rather than the skilled qualified ones who carry out the tasks you mention.
We get 20 billion a year in taxes from immigration. What happens to Brits abroad by the way if we Vote out ?
Re: And the question real is... You've completely missed the point....what he was saying is next year the 65,000 people of Guernsey will be buying a million German cars and buying £80 billion's worth of EU goods more than Guernsey sells them . That's 15.3 new cars every year for every man woman and child on the island .
Re: And the question real is... All the young uns need to ask themselves do they want a dictatorship telling them what they can and cant do without question... Or do they want to live in a system whereby they can vote to change things if they dont like it. If its the later vote out. To the older ones which have seen year after year the working man dumped on from a great hight open your eyes because a vote to stay in will water down further any chance we have of altering the system we so desperately need to change. Thats way has much as i like corbyn i think hes wrong with his stance our fathers grandfathers and other family members gave their lives to repel the German nazi ideology and here we are years later being marched into a fedral state. Whilst a common market for trade is a good idea the intergration of nations is not ....hence my ballot paper will read out
Re: And the question real is... This sort of rhetoric is precisely why I've no interest in debating this with anyone. This whole thing has become an excuse for blow hards on either side of the spectrum to bang on about their opinion and feel important without considering the other viewpoint on any level. Comparing the EU to the nazi ideology get a hold of yourself.
Re: And the question real is... I doubt Shed was comparing it to the Nazi's as I'm sure you're well aware.
Re: And the question real is... Well why don't we have a australia points system for immigration. Or would that be rasict.
Re: And the question real is... aye,you have to wonder what gets into those germans when they dont get their own way, they are already saying we've had it if we pull out and access to the market will be gone....i really do wonder what BMW will have to say about that considering not just how many cars they sell us but also motorcycles, then you have VW,god knows how much stock they send here, then the french? renault, citroen, peugeot,Italians? fiats and ducatis...just look on our roads and see how many european cars and bikes we have,i really cannot see these firms saying ****** to the little englanders.no matter what the high and mighty politicians say.
Re: And the question real is... The question I would ask, is if we leave the EU, who the chuff will trade with us?
