After his slot on Andrew Marr show
Is he for or against Europe. He certainly did not push the boat out to stop in and really was more for out. A Leopard never changes its spots.
I have been Labour all my life ans seen some Labour leaders in power.
One Michael Foot was a catastrophe. Corbyn is the same. Make no mistake he will not and actually does not bother the Tories.
No Charisma and does not look a leader and does not hack it at all
    I fear the Worse

Thought it was common knowledge that he'd put aside his personal views on the EU to lead his Party (mostl of it) behind the remain camp. Doesn't matter who Labour have in charge, the bias Press/ media that is largely Tory supporting will have the knives out. It's not unique to have a leader that doesn't please all of the Party or its supporters either.

Jez was always a euro-sceptic. He's put that to one side to do the right thing in a very dangerous situation. That's honourable in my book.

Does it really matter what any political leader says? They prove themselves to be arseholes most of the time.

This is an in/out referendum which everyone votes using their logic and intelligence on what they would like. Winner takes all.

Well I don't need anyone to tell me how to vote. I'll be voting to remain.

Totally agree people should be using their own intelligence on this one instead of following corbyn or whoever like a sheep.

I don't think Corbyn is an arsehole or a careerist whether you agree or not with his views. He's shown that by sticking to your principles that you can earn respect.

Have to disagree Paul...to eschew the principles of a lifetime is dishonourable...unless you are prepared to be clear you were absolutely wrong in the past.
It seems to me Jeremy adopted the position of trying to keep his head down and not campaign for something he does not and never has believed in , in the hope that a Remain lead could absolve him of having to say the opposite of his lifetime convictions. Unfortunately a Leave lead (apparently) has forced his hand.

In interested in Nichola's viewpoint about the SNP backing remain, to secure another referendum up there wouldn't she prefer an out vote?

I can understand that Andy. But I think when JC seriously aired his Euro doubts, he wasn't the Labour leader and the socio/political climate was very different to now.

Pompey. Hear what you are sayin and maybe there might be something in it. But I must say remain seems to be the majority here in Scotland where as leave seem to have the upper hand in England. I noticed huge leave banners all over England the 3 times I was down recently but very few remain.
So if Scotland wishes to remain but pulled out by an English out majority there might be more problems ahead.
I'm watching Cameron getting horsed by this audience tonight. Seems unable to convince the majority here.

I fear his reasons are more pragmatic.

The operative words are Labour Leader and are key to it . To be fair Jeremy is in a very tricky position...there are still a large number of Blairites who would prefer to see him gone...his own election depended on union support largely Unite...who want to remain...as do the Blairites generally ...he has apparently repaid their support by dropping his lifetime opposition to the EU.
The real problem he now has , is to resolve his conversion to the Remain campaign with Aslef/RMT....he was supported by them in his election and they announced it was conditional on his support for renationalisation of the railways....this is not possible under EU rules . An easy Remain win would have saved him from paying anything other than lip service to the campaign...it will be most interesting to see what his position will be in the event of a Brexit.

No offence to the RMT but they disagree because that's where their political preferences lie not from a position of impartiality.

Sam is pretty **** hot on this stuff and well respected on all sides of the political spectrum.

TRANSPORT UNION RMT today set out six key reasons why it will be advising members to vote to the leave the EU in the forthcoming referendum:

    1. Leave the EU to end attacks on rail workers

New EU rail policies are set to further entrench rail privatisation and fragmentation. That will also mean more attacks or jobs and conditions and EU laws will make it impossible to bring all of rail back into public ownership.

Better let Sam and Mick Cash argue the toss on that one .

Shallow analysis of people who put substance before presentation . Michael Foot was **** because he wore a duffle coat to the Rememberance Service. Corbyns voting in , how many f@cking times does he have to say it

People commenting on Corbyn's appearance annoys me no end. It genuinely scares me that people take that into account when voting.
