Just checked Lintons Linked in Page https://uk.linkedin.com/in/linton-brown-05193a1b Fingers in a couple of pies.... Hope he has time to do CEO....!
The club statement and the fact that after he left earlier we managed to persuade him to come back shows how highly he is thought of. In Patrick we trust!
He needs to hit the ground running and deal with some of the major issues facing the club going into a Championship season .... 1 Bottle tops 2 pigeon crap on seats 3 Score Board 4.TV remote batteries
I suspect the CEO job was offered to him to return to the Club and Ben has been working his notice hence the delay in announcing
Yes but normally on "gardening leave". Most CEOs wouldn't be able to walk straight into a competitor. Something right odd about all this....
Maybe Leeds are paying us compensation? Or maybe there will be bit of legal action coming. I cant believe Bens contract hadnt got some notice period
For this kind of position, moving to a direct competitor, I'd expect a minimum of three months gardening leave. If he's making statements on players that Leeds have signed in the next few weeks then there's something not right. He could quite easily be taking all the research we've done on potential signings with him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not relevant whatsoever I was a Uni when Linto played for Hull so I saw him play quite often. . Decent goalscorer. Remembered fondly by my mates who are Hull fans.
Some contracts state that you are not permitted to take a job with a competitor within a certain distance, got a certain period.
