    Anyone know the latest on this?

    Alan Nixon said we'd agreed a fee with Southampton a few weeks ago but seems to be dragging out now.

    That a guess or are you ITK?

    I think you're probably right. If he wanted to come to Preston he would've signed a couple of weeks ago Imo.

    Aye I think he wants to come back home but we aren't sure w can afford him so he's waiting to make his mind up when he knows if we have got enough pennies from the side of the Oakwell sofa.

    Izzy has seemingly been on the longest holiday known to man!
    Apparently, Preston are waiting to hear from him too!
    It would make my heaven if we could get him back.
    Hope desperately it's a deal we can do !

    From what I saw last season (mainly towards the end of season), this lad set the tempo for the side nearly every game. I would have liked all the loanees back, but this one would be my number 1 priority, just slightly above Ashley.

    i'm expecting him to light up the championship next season. i just hope it's with us. same with fletch. can't see us landing both though

    A man who doesn't like to be cited as a source has said that Isgrove is on far more than we could afford at Southampton so unfortunately it isn't going to happen unless he takes a big pay cut.

    Doubt he'll be going anywhere permanently then. Given that he's only had one decent L1 season I can't see any team offering him significantly more than what we could afford.

    I cant see him ever being a goalscorer, its something you cant really coach but I cant help thinking the assists was just one of those strange stats, he was terrific and hasnt got the worst end product ive ever seen. Id love him back as his energy and determination is infectious.

    Has someone at the club said that?

    Also how is the Bradshaw chase going? We were after him in January but quoted 7 figures. Think we've moved on from him now.

    Yes.

    Not sure on Bradshaw. Think our interest will fade if the price isn't right. Walsall seem to be asking for too much.
