No offence, Tekkytyke, but you are seemingly a migrant yourself. Did you not leave the UK to prosper in Italia? Yet it seems, from your very many threads on this subject that you are at odds with others looking to prosper here (where you left) as economic migrants. No?

Like I say, I'm not looking to offend. I generally stay out of these threads. But for someone who has left the UK, migrated, I find it weird that you're so against migration into the UK, a place you chose to leave.

    Feel free to correct/enlighten me.

You'd have missed the Turkish Ambassador on Newsnight tonight , hilarious , talking about Turkey joining the EU 'why would we want to go to Britain , because you've got Cadburys chocolate and maltesers ? '.
The more interesting thing he said was that Germany and France have told them no chance of joining

Muslims held an ANTI-ISIS rally a few days ago - that wasn't covered either - I wonder why?

They had an article on their news site yesterday saying that voting Brexit will help get Trump elected.

    They're not unbiased at all.

That you live in Italy, that you benefited from EU free movement, and that you spout spurious "facts" that don't fit the point you're trying to make..., I think your views are beyond hypocritical and now many people will see them as irrelevant.

    Enjoy your retirement in Europe.

And did Russia Today report the fact that Russian fans put two England fans in hospital? Russia Today is run by the Russian government. The main nutcase in the Russian hooligan gang works for the Russian government which supports the Russian hooligans.

You ought to decide if you're for England or for Russia, mate. Traitors like should put your crap to England fans in person and see how you get on.

I'd say more so ,especially as he has the audacity to criticise something he's pinching whilst the rest of us are paying.

So what about expats living in England bring money in...??

Also imports on foods goods raw materials ,foreign companies foreign employees working in UK people spending money abroad on holidays, foreign investors dividend payment adds up to a huge amount. Expat pensions is a miniscule amount of money leaving the country. Are you going to stop all that as well?

You don't really think things through before you type stuff do you? Fool!

Hdden away in the regional (Kent) pages whilst everything 'remain' is plastered all over the main page and the main news pages. (A tactic often used by redtops) Also given the reports on Italian/ French TV etc on mainland Europe the BBC rather downplayed the level of violence etc. The riots in paris and Calais were under reported by the BBC. But then you live in the UK bubble so only believe what you are fed by the British media.

They will be skilled immigrants though, that's the difference, personally I would favour work permits rather than the Australian-style points system.
