I reckon 20 quid each a week from 17 million people will nearly equal £350 million a week get saving chaps.
Just take it on the chin , the leave voters were victorious . There,s nothing you can say or do to change this momentous occasion. Btw you could find a hole to cry in .
Not sure that your definition of 'middle England' actually correlates with the people who voted for Brexit.
Me!! And last May too! Great victories both. There are some sad losers in this world. Get on with it use the democratic process and stop your bleating.
so my grammar and spelling makes me stupid nothing to do with suffering from being dyslexic and the fact i can hardly see from having a recent stroke ..but i will overlook your discrimination
Just seen this drivel. People like me? Who are they are exactly? Jamdrop and I disagree on many things but we both voted remain so who caused you to vote out? Is it Jamdrop or me? Or your personal experiences? Whatever they are. You should change your name to onlyonebraincell.
Please accept my apologies. No offence intended. Whatever else I'm guilty of, discrimination is definitely not included. Too close to home.
apology accepted ...as my old dad use to say until you walk a mile in someones shoes one should always put ones brain into gear before opening ones mouth...lol true on many counts....on both sides of the argument....
I voted In (just for the record) There is some valid arguments on the leave side and respect people's views. I believe the country and our future generations will be better off within an economic community that works together. Globalisation will come stronger and faster and we are stronger as a nation within a community. I believe the sector and business I work is definitely better off in and I fear job losses and lack of competitiveness going forward. I believe there should be movement of people and we as a nation have a skills shortage at the higher skilled leves Medical, Engineering etc and at the lower paid levels also. But freedom of movement affects our people working abroad. I don't believe the EU works well but I am a believer that you have to commit to driving change from within rather than abstane. The biggest worry for me is that it's clear people have voted due to our government performance on a number of topics, we still do have a lot of control over our own country. Unfortunately the lack of gov performance at negotiating better deals and realising more EU benefits for us doesn't go away. We now amplify that performance through a turbulent and volatile few years where our negotiation skills will be tested on what we trade off for trading agreements (immigration, aid etc) and how we exit without being worse off than before. I fear Scotland will gain more support to leave and NI and Wales will ask telling questions. I respect democracy and it's a shame some campaigners have back peddled on their key messages within hours of the declaration which shows they have no real plan what to do next but now it's a case of us all getting on with it. What is interesting from the representative vote is how far out of touch with the rest of the country Londons Gov is. Pity the same electorate didn't vote at the general election.
