Many on here have commentated, including myself. The vote has happened. What will be will be. I would suggest an embargo on any posts to do with Brexit, etc, etc. We've all had our say - but this is in danger of becoming a Remain/Brexit Forum. Time to move on?

Either that or force all related posts into one thread. I don't mind the debate but this site seems to have completely lost it's primary purpose recently.

I think give it 'til tomorrow as it's still the same day today and then from tomorrow have posts in one thread.

There's no football and the country has just been involved in a momentous occasion many haven't seen in our lifetimes. I never knew we had as many political experts however (myself included) probably more than knows anything about football mind :)

Bit early to put a lid on it. Maybe after the weekend but in principle, I agree

Yes we had our say.........and didn't Orsen Kaht and a few more come out of that looking rather silly.

Included in that are a few more well known posters on here.

Obviously I use the term 'rather silly' when I could use other adjectives because as usual I don't want to sink to their depths.

And you suggest other BBS-ers are looking silly? You know about irony, right?

I concur. I read this forum to take my mind off such matters. Fair enough, a couple of threads is reasonable but it's becoming almost a chore to find a thread not about the EU!

People can't talk about anything in one thread on here.

Hopefully it won't. The BBS doesn't belong to you to split it up as you like. It's been this way for near enough 20 years without problems and yet one man decides he wants to change it so he does

interesting how the board has been absolutely scattered with brexit threads prior to the referendum. now brexit has got the vote, people want the debate to go away.

I don't want the debate to go away; it would just be nice if there weren't a hundred different threads essentially saying the same thing.

When I first joined the BBS I would go to sleep at night and wake up the following morning and have to click right through to page three to catch up with the posts. Since people started messing around changing the format it got so bad that at times I could come back after an entire day and see only one new thread. We have finally got to a point where the BBS is busy and interesting again and bam! Anfytyke unilaterally changes the format and tries enforcing his own perception of what makes a good bbs. Guess what? It's the quiet again
