I wouldn't be surprised if Harry gets the job. He's been after it for years. I genuinely think he's been keeping his options open for this situation. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
No chance, Redknapp hates the FA and they hate him. That and he'll be 71 by the time the next World Cup comes around.
he seems to be universally known as "Woy" - rightly or wrongly, so it's a bit harsh to pull one individual up for it!
Thing is with International football, you don't need years of experience to be successful. Just common sense and good organizational skills.
Most handicapped people are quite capable of defending themselves and give as good as they get. I am actually offended that you feel the need to rush to their aid for what you perceive to be offensive. That is the problem with PC today. People like you who have no connection with certain groups find offence where there is none intended and stick their noses in. Why do you feel the need to rush to their defence unless subconsciously you feel that they are incapable of defending themselves. Besides, many physically handicapped people make fun of their own peer groups and mock themselves.... I used to teach people with physical disabilities to drive when the push was on to get rid of the blue invacars and get them into motability funded cars. Many of my pupils referred to the invacars as "13amp plugs" due to the shape and 3 wheel configuration. That was pretty harmless but some also referred to them in a way that would now be a absolute no-no for PC brigade. They called them 'spazz-chariots'!!
I wouldn't say Iceland have a particularly good pool of players. Infact, individually, most of them would be lower Championship/League 1 level. But they had a management team used their common sense and set them up to play to their strengths.
