Is there anyone else we should be considering?

Madden and Winnal by all accounts were a terrible partnership. I'd like to see us try and get Sam Gallagher on loan from Southampton.

I don't see this big obsession with alot of Barnsley fans saying they'd like Gallagher to come here? Alot of Saints fans don't rate him and said he doesn't ever look like scoring. He played about 15 games for MK Dons and didn't score once. He's scored once for Southampton aswell in about 20 games, I just don't understand where all the hype is coming from. Not to mention I think he's only got 1 assist. Big lad though, so might link up well, I just think personally we should be looking elsewhere first

I'd go for Bradshaw big time. Fletcher going to West Ham, maybe a loan for him is possible.
Bradshaw is a goal scorer, fits the age remit. Winnall only got a year left on contract. Bradshaw is a more than adequate partner or potential replacement

I don't know why I feel the need to point this out. But I think he was being sarcastic.

    Adam Armstrong?

Surprised there hasn't been any rumours about us or anyone else after him.

Newcastle just signed Gayle and Armstrong is getting to the age where he will want some assurances about his future. He was the only reason we lost the 4-3 game at the Ricoh.

Maybe too similar to Winnall though. Best to have two forwards of differing types usually, rather than two of similar build and style.

I agree with your point, but Armstrong is 2 yards quicker than Winnall.

Sam is one of those strange players that is pretty good at everything without being exceptional at anything. The good thing about that is I think he could form a partnership with just about any kind of striker.
