How does that stop brexit - Id have thought the rest of Europe will be in even more of a hurry to get shut of us now

Great boost for our exports having Boris there - counties will sign up to anything just to get rid of him

That's the surface scenario. It's more cunning and complex than that. Can you really see Bozzer negotiating a tidy exit and maintaining diplomatic relations? He'll ******** it up royally and be moved aside in a couple of years. Meanwhile, the rest of the country will wake up to just what a bad and expensive idea, the whole farce was. Likely prompting another referendum or just forgetting about the first one.

    Genius, really... :D

I think you are underestimating him. Behind the buffoonery he is quite calculating and no fool. How many languages are you fluent in? He speaks several. Also note when being interviewed on serious matters or delivering formal speeches ion the podium the stammering and awkwardness...'errs' and 'ums' vanish and he becomes very articulate and lucid. Also some of the gaffes attributed to him are suspect to say the least (although there is non denying he does make himself a fair target on occasions) . I understand the insulting limerick aboutTurkey's Erdogan supposedly written by Johnson was almost certainly not penned by him. And some of the others were written by minions without his knowledge.

I am not saying his politics are something I support but I think there is a danger of people seriously underestimating him based on half-truths and propoganda in the media due to the fact he does not play ball with the likes of Rupert Murdoch. He also loves to play the buffoon when it suits him. It will be interesting to see if his demeanour changes now he is on the international stage. He may turn out to be a liability, but might, just might, surprise us all

It is disappointing though that Jacob Rees Mogg has not been given a role even if only in the background. Whilst his demeanour makes him appear like a relic from the '50s and he is described as "an upper class man neither ashamed nor proud of the fact" he has an amazing intellect, is a Eurosceptic and not afraid of criticising the party's excesses. He surgically savaged Mark Carney over the BoEs over-hyped Brexit warnings as well as during a short cameo when interviewed by a BBC journalist on the BBC news in the House of Commons Lobby where he clinically rebutted every point regarding the predictions of doom and gloom she tried to make, stating real facts and statistics using the Government's own data.

He will be at a long arms distance from the Brexit negotiations. Theresa May has ensured this by creating the new role of Brexit Secretary and install ultra Euro sceptic David Davis in to the role. Brexit will be led by Davis and May.

Well why would you want to stop it. To stay with an unelected organisation that provides immoral salaries to glorified clerks, and. A trough for the unelected to screw the rest of us. For an organisation that has ignored Greek referenda to an extent that they will not be able to pay back their debt for another 35 years. I could go on, but if you are so enamoured by a failed ideology (not dissimilar to the USSR, we'll get on with it. I'm not here for many more years (thank God), so you can live with the consequences of man's folly.

He's not likely to be doing any negotiating on Brexit.
He's going to be overseen by two other Ministers.
    Theresa May's not daft !

I recall that warm summer evening when we all skipped along to the ballot box and voted in Theresa May. Heady days.

I don't care either way about Brexit but at least have a coherent Argument.
