What would people see as our first 11 for next season? I'd possibly go

    Winnall Bradshaw

    Hammill Moncur Hourihane Watkins

    White Mawson Roberts Yiadom

    Davies

    (Subject to Bradshaw signing)

    Thoughts?

Looks good to me. Think we just need another winger, a back-up CB and potentially a more physical striker. Although what I've seen of Payne it looks like he might be up to the job.

Centre midfield is the area I think we need some bodies.

Only Hourihane, Scowen and Moncur to cover 2 (maybe 3 at times if we go 1 up top) places.

Should Caenepeel sign I think it could free Watkins up nicely to either play on the wing or up top, as both can play either position. Agree on the CB

Good point, could see us maybe going down the loan route for cover in that area. Think I'm also right in saying that Yiadom can play CM, but that might be clutching at straws.

Agreed, kind of forget how good Watkins was up front last year. Also, not wanting to stray away from topic too much, but IF Williams eventually gets fit, where do people think he would fit in the team? I personally think that he looks much more effective playing centrally and could perhaps be moulded to play in a two in CM, rather than on the wing.

A lot of attacking flair but would worry about the pressure on the back 4, which will come more now we're up a level, I know theres Scowen but think we need a little more has an option in there

Kevin Long in for Nyatanga. Seal the Jinty and Bradshaw deals. Do this and we're almost there.

Then, less pressing but I'd say a better 2nd choice keeper and maybe fill up the squads with 3-5 loans including a versatile defender like Holgate.

i see you've gone for a maverick 4-4-1-2 formation. we should definitely get promoted with 12 players.

    9-10-1-6 is more accurate ;)

Might be a bit crowded in their box.

has prompted an interesting question though. is your XI stronger than the one that got us promoted?

    davies
    white
    mawson
    roberts
    williams
    hammill
    conor
    brownhill
    isgrove
    winnall
    fletcher

i'm not convinced it is tbh..

We'll have so many options. On the right wing we have Watkins, Jinty, Yiadom, Jackson, Tuton & Hammill who can play there. Upfront we've got Bradshaw, Jinty, Winnall, Payne, Jackson, Tuton, Watkins & Moncur. Plus Ryan Kent looks pretty much nailed on who also can play on the wing or ST.

Jackson and Tuton are very pacey so I'd certainly consider bringing them on against tired legs. Payne brings the physicality too and looks very promising so I wouldn't say that these non-league signings are not options as some are suggesting.

Weren't we rumoured to be in for Ryan Ledson? We should persue him for loan. Unless Everton think hes ready for first team, which i doubt right now. He'd be a good addition in the middle

The deals almost there. Not too sure what the hold up is tbh. His best position is RM/RW but he can play ST/CF.

He got Man of the Match in a Liverpool XI's 5-0 win over Fleetwood Town yesterday.
