Even if he was fit, I don't see a place for him in this team especially once Jinty and Kent are over the line. Time to get shut. I really liked him on loan here but it's just not worth keeping him on. Waste of wages. Pay him off and just accept that the signing was a mistake and we will inevitably lose money from it.
A lot of badgering about this but I trust Hecky & Co to make the right choice- at the end of the day we don't know whats going on behind the scenes and if he is considered surplus to requirements he will be sent on his way. Must be because folk ant got owt to complain about
We haven't agreed a fee for jinty and if we have inquired about isgrove permenent I can't see us signing jinty,Ryan kent and Lloyd isgrove. As for williams like said we don't know what's happening behind the scenes unfortunately. Just have to wait and see. Hopefully we get shut of nytanga before at least williams has potential.
boils my piss this. he injured. through no fault of his own. the lads young, one of our own players and no doubt really wants to do well. so what we should do according to some wise sages is pay him off, say see ya and let him go play for someone else. i could understand it if he wasnt good enough. i for one think he might just be a decent player based on what we saw when he was fit. he deserves the chance to get fit and prove that.
Thats just it though. I don't believe he is good enough for this current squad. His best position is the no.10 role which we won't be using and even if we did Moncur would go there. I wouldn't put him on the wing ahead of Kent, Watkins or Yiadom. No point keeping him when you consider everything.
The little we saw of him I though he looked pretty good. Hopefully he can get back to full fitness soon and thats another winger we've got on the books. He's only 22 so plenty time yet.
I seem to remember Hecky making the analogy between the difference between rrenting and buying property, in an interview in relation to player recruitment. Whilst developing other clubs talent is a reasonable and attractive trade, he would prefer any investment is on our own staff, giving BFC the payout their effort deserves. Giving Ryan Williams time versus Kent is a no brainer. We should be patient, Kent will never be our player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not sure when being injured became a players fault. If they had listened to views like some on here hold Eric Winstanley wouldn't have played for us after his lengthy spell out. I like Ryan and look forward to watching him play again.
Personally, I think the lad will come good. At 22 years of age, he's a perfect fit for BFC. Let's support him, he could be a gem. For the doubters, maybe they should read his stats at Oxford United. To simply release Williams would be a massive mistake. Happy to wait.
