    Hi, Bristol City fan here.
    Do you not think LJ would have had something to do with your club identifying Kent as a potential signing. Therefore both Barnsley and City may be working off a similar looking sheet of players.
    Our sheet may target higher profile signings but players like Kent, Abraham and others are targets for lots of clubs in this league.

    I'd like to think it will. It's not like it was just a honey moon period, it was almost half a season.
    We've strengthen massively this summer, not that you care, so I'd like to think we can push on this season, again, not that you care seeing as this is a Barnsley forum.

    I've no axe to grind against you lot in fact I have a soft spot for you.

    Johnson is both short in stature and ability you'll find that out sooner rather than later. Awful manager. Dull turgid football.

    He did that with us as soon as he joined. He took us from about 18th off to a chance of getting the play offs.

    He then had a summer to strengthen us....and ****ed it up.

    History repeats itself I'm afraid. Don't think you'll go down but can't see you being much higher than 18th.
