Barnard's was special but the game was meaningless and already dead by the time he scored it. For quality plus importance plus sheer crowd eruption value .....hmmm...Trevor Aylott v Man City, Adam Hammill v Millwall or Sam's second against Walsall in the semi.

If it's a goal that I've seen live I'd say it's between Hammill's at Wembley or Howard's against Cardiff at home.

Pat Howards free kick v Luton Town away. This was special because the ref had blown for a direct free kick just outside the box quite close to where I was stood. Pat asked the ref quietly if it was direct or indirect. Now I heard him, but the goalie didn't and he set his defenders out for an indirect free kick. Pat whacked it in and the goalie came running out laughing at Pat thinking it was no goal. Goalie weren't reight happy when the ref awarded the goal. From then on in it were a Luton onslaught with Pat and Winnie busy bricking up our goal.

Tony Cunningham, scoring the 4th against Fulham 82-83 season, after being 0-3 down after 7 mins. Overhead kick if I remember right.

Exactly. Not in our top 100 best goals ever but if you were there just got the release of emotion I'm not sure how any other goal can even come close as a 'favourite'.

    Breath-taking balance and control.
