Personally, I think it's going to be tough, but we might surprise a few teams. A lot is going to depend on SSW/Bradshaw getting a better understanding, and one dropping deeper to link the attack to midfield.

I'd sight Cici too, as he will help shore the midfield up if needed.

I've got a feeling Payne might be a real find for us, and his strength could be a game changer....

One more game I think, Bradford behind closed doors.

Only seen Everton & Hull games, as I said after Hull match they may well be relegated by Easter, but neither team had to work at all hard or the 5 goals scored so I think there is some improvement needed in the team's defensive work, not just the defence but all round, admitted we won't play teams like them every week, especially Everton but in the long run I see us struggling unless we do up our defending.

I reckon D'Almeida should sign up. We look good up front. Just the defence needs a bit of depth

I thought Winnall was poor today, and he and Bradshaw didn't play well together. We looked sharper when Watkins and Payne came on.

Peterborough played 5 in midfield and we struggled, but managed to limit them to a lot of shots from distance.

Townsend made 3 or 4 really excellent saves. Kent can beat his man easily but his decision making was poor but will improve I'm sure.

Much depends on how much more we strengthen the club. The starting line up today for Ipswich if I was picking it would have Davies back (i'm sure he will be fit) and prefer Bree to Yiadom. That would leave a bench of Moncur, Yiadom, Townsend, Lee, Payne ect which if we get a few injuries/suspensions won't be good.

I'm happy with the team at the minute. Would go with the starting line up today, potentially dropping winnall for Payne or Watkins. I'm optimistic, which is unusual for me. Think there's at least 4/5 teams worse than us.

I think Payne or Watkins are better options than Winnall. What has happened to the lad during the summer?

Agreed, I think Sam will have to up his game in order to keep Stefan and Marley out.

Think Sam will still be an important player this season but harsh on Watkins and Payne if winnall starts against Ipswich. Think he will though.

Great problem to have. Same with moncur and josh. I think payne will feel very hard done by, if he doesn't start against Ipswich. He's done everything right. As will Scowen

To survive, we need to average about 6 points per month - that will give us 54 over a 9 month season. This should be possible - although November will be tricky with only 3 league games...

It's great to have 2 forwards who broke 20 goals last year, and hopefully they will click and can form a partnership but on the showing of pressure season, it seems like it will take time. The question is, do we have it?

I am optimistic, but I will be counting up from the bottom this season. We have a good chance of staying up. There is usually one team in the bottom 3 who are classed as "sleeping giants".
