Daily Telegraph's Championship Club by Club Guide. Relegation candidates are, Fulham, Rotherham and Huddersfiels.
This is the single most unpredictable season ever in my opinion. I actually think that Newcastle, Norwich, Wednesday and Derby will be the top 4, and Rotherham, Blackburn and Burton will be the bottom 3. The other 17 teams could finish in any order and I really wouldn't be surprised. I think that we're as likely to finish in the top 6 as we are the bottom 6. It is a really bizarre league in my opinion where, even though there could be massive differences in terms of squad sizes, attendances and budgets, on the field I don't have any specific teams who have an advantage over anyone else. Very few of the previews I've read have us to go down. I've seen Leeds, Reading, Fulham and Villa all tipped for promotion / playoffs and relegation, which shows just how wide-open it is. Blackburn seem to be most people's tips to go down with Burton.
I've genuinely no idea how we're going to do this year. We strolled the second half of last season and dominated most teams we played and retained most of our players. I expect us to be one of the harder working teams and that may help us against teams who don't want it as much. But we could finish 6th or 24th... and at this stage I'll happily take 21st to allow a continued rebuilding.
