If Ched is found not guilty, how on earth does that prove the girl was lying. Even prior to the conviction being quashed, she was being treated like the accused and Ched the victim. Mostly by blinkered Sheffield United fans who were bitter that they'd not got promoted that season cos Ched got sent down. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I wasn't there you would have to ask his mate I was just suggesting why he may have entered via a fire escape
And most on here have jumped on the high horse bandwagon because he was a Sheffield United player. And what I'm saying is that if it comes out that she's made it all up and lied, her name should be spread across the papers like his. Looking at the evidence, they arent worlds apart. The only thing that would make them worlds apart are if she was so drunk she couldnt remember it, which from CCTV footage shows she wasnt, like she claimed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
what if it just turns out his loaded father in law could afford a better lawyer ? Btw how's it getting on a high horse when what most folks were saying was that whatever he came across as a first class sleaze bag whoever he played for and whatever the verdict.
For the record, I don't give a flying toss who he is or who he played for. As a father of a teenage daughter, I am quite appalled by his behaviour irrespective of whether it was rape or not. at best, it just makes him a vile example of the human species. From the way you are talking, I suspect you have a personal axe to grind in this anonymity argument but the fact is, on the original evidence he was found guilty beyond all reasonable doubt by a jury. She did not influence the other witnesses, or edit the CCTV used in evidence, so she should not in any way face any comeback for her actions.
I seriously doubt anyone is jumping on the bandwagon because he's a Sheffield United player. That is a very bizarre assumption to make. I think you're missing the point. Ched's conviction being overturned doesn't prove the girl was lying, it merely states that there is reasonable doubt over whether he did it. There's only 2 people who know for sure. Publicly humiliating a girl for claiming she was raped after a court has overturned the original ruling is just wrong on so many levels. She's already been named all over social media and had to move several times despite being the alleged victim. Many might not see her as that, but let's not forget, a court decided at one time that he was guilty, and he was sentenced to serve 5 years. I'm not saying that it did or did not happen. None of us will ever know for sure. His conviction may be completely quashed, but it does not prove that he did or did not do it. I'm just trying to highlight the fact that naming and shaming a girl who may or may not have been raped is just morally wrong on so many levels. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
As is falsely claiming to be raped, which I'm not saying she wasnt, but if it turns out she wasnt and she'd fabricated the whole story for a big payday, like apparent whatsapp messages she'd sent to friends claim, then she should be hung out to dry. If its proved that she was indeed raped, I take back everything I've said but from the very beginning the facts in this case have not added up and there has been something very, very fishy. And no, I have no personal axe to grind in this particular field. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
