After reading threads questioning the reciprical pricing structure we have adopted, I have decided to keep track of the prices for both home and away matches. I am only including the advanced prices for adults to keep it simple. I went with the advance prices as I'm not certain that I would be able to keep track of pay on the day costs for away matches. At the end of the season it will also be easy to find out the total cost of following the Reds away from home for anyone who is interested.

If anyone wants to comment with prices that are announced that I may have missed that would be great so I can update it as the season progresses. Cheers.

Given we have no idea what Villa will charge us I'm not sure how the concept behind this will work but thanks JD for thus will be interesting.

Too late! It's not a word I use very often and I was too busy trying to figure out the table to remember to check afterwards - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Is reciprocal pricing a written rule?

Can we charge less if we so wish?

I think that if we supported the 20 is plenty campaign, charged £20 for all areas of the ground in every game, we'd see an increase in both casual home fans as well as away fans. Then if our fans wished to make some sort of protest against unfair pricing, a big song and dance could be made about any opposing team who wish to charge us a ridiculous figure.

I presume though that we have to agree on a price prior to the season kicking off and sort of agree it with the other club.

But the problem is, it's the fans who are being punished for the greed of football clubs. As much as we moan about being charged £35 at Ipswich, there fans are getting the same rough treatment. We should make a stand. If we can.

I agree, if we'd have said £20 is the amount then people would be much more likely to turn up more often and then 'get the bug'. Knowing it's £20 is easier to spontaneously decide to go rather than having to wonder what category it is, and then remember/be able to book in advance to save £2, it's just a bit of a faff. I can imagine some people not going when they realise it is £2 more on the gate just on principal.

Even if we didn't want to do £20 then £25 even. I think that is the cut off at reasonable, any more than that and you just think 'basically £30' and over that become 'nearly £40'.

Last season against Donny he club made a big song and dance about reducing the price to £20. The headline on the official site read 20 is plenty and tried to milk a bit of good PR by proclaiming how the club supports the concept hat £20 is more than enough to watch football. Now they are charging almost double that for some games and there is absolutely no excuse for it.

How exactly are we going to pay the wages of free signs from Barnet, Dover and Torquay if we don't charge £30?

Alan Bloore's already done a lot of work around this for the Supporters' Trust and FSF where he is involved in pricing and campaigns like 20s plenty. Some of the detail is on the BFCST website including a link to a spreadsheet of what he's found out so far with regards pricing this season (and includes previous season's data)

So because Leroy Lita wasn't up to it, every experienced player will be as bad, so the only way forward is to sign unproven young or lower league players?

So because they are unproven or lower league its okay to write them off and belittle them before you have seen them kick a ball? Lita, jennings, treacy, turnbull.... all failed and cost the club/patrick money. Can you blame the club for taking a new transfer policy? Especially when players like vardy,Lee tomin, Charlie Austin, dwight gayle, Connor washington, che Adams (just a few off top of my head) all came from lower league.

It's already clear that we are over-charging for the Aston Villa game. If Villa are charging Rotherham and Huddersfield fans £25, there's no way they'll be charging Barnsley £32.
