I sorta agree with you on this but the dogmatic way you say things doesn't help put your views across in a accessible way. Also when you add them to a thread where you have already had a nibble at a player it comes across as targeting a player rather than offering an opinion.

It comes across as "I'm right, you're wrong" all teh time, as if he thinks he's some kind of higher level fan because he stands outside the training ground every day with an inside out Lidl bag.

    I'm not targeting anyone.

People just choose to ignore the things I suggested were good about Yids game.

Their is a mentality on this board where you are seen as negative for giving construction criticism.

Highly regarded posters on this forum have at times thrown out regular personal abuse at players such as Tom Kennedy, Dale Jennings, Conor Wilkinson, Scott Wiseman and Keith Hill. No one seems to bat an eye lid at that.

If I give out criticism of certain players though theres often uproar.

That's not a personal insult, it's a perception. I have no idea if you shop at Lidl or not.

You're insinuating I dont have a life and stand outside the training ground every morning. I find that insulting.

I never insinuated anything, you've simply made it up in your head. Amazing.

I dont unserstand why you attack me but dont give any footballing based opinion.

At least others debate with me on a footballing level. When they do that I'll question them if I think they are wrong. I have every right to do that. They do it to me.

You just talk rubbish at me.

What's the point? You'll just disagree with everything I say before playing the victim when people pull you up for coming across as stubborn and obnoxious.

In summary, a central midfielder also culpable.

    End of post

I was at Portman Road. I thought we played the better football and did not look at all out of place in the Championship. My nephew, an Ipswich fan, was impressed by us. I thought Davies should have done a lot better. He was beaten twice at his near post. I know this is purely hypothetical and impossible to prove, but I think Luke Steele would have saved a couple of their goals.

Again I didn't say you were just that the way you express yourself makes it look you are.

There's a difference between making a passing comment about a player who was never ours or has gone and a difference between seeing a player once and making a judgement over a period of time such as saying that over a period of time both Wiseman and Kennedy were poor players for us and didn't improve.

    I haven't made a judgement on Yiadom.

All I've said is he needs to improve on his positioning.

I have never said he isn't good enough.

With George Smith after enough games I stuck my neck out and said the lad will be non league before he's 22.

I would never judge a player after so few games. But I would say how they can improve their performance.

Again i didn't say you had made a judgement just how it comes across. I don't necessarily disagree about Yiadom it's just how you phrase things.

Okay I will try take that on board.

For the record I think Yids has the attributes to be a very good player.

I remember Bobby struggling in League One positionally when he first arrived. In fact people thought Tommy Williams looked the better full back.

If there was one thing that was exceptional about Bobby's game over his time with us it was being in the right place at the right time.

The fact I've noted Yiadom to have bad positional sense in the 3 games I watched isn't ruling him out. It's me giving my opinion on how he can improve.
