    Bristol have just sold Defender Luke Ayling to Leeds
    City are also to receive betweeb 6-8m from the sell on clause for Yanik Bolasie
    Anyone think they will use that and come in with a higher offer for Mawson

    We shouldn't be entertaining anything less than £3 million. Considering the short length of time we've got to bring in a replacement.

    It would leave us with 2 senior centre halves, who have played 1 championship game between them.

    I had no recollection of him even playing for brizzle! I'd somehow thought he was signed from Plymouth. Interesting that palace bought him when the deal for Matty done fell through...

    I'd love that to be true but the simple fact is that if the player wants it he will go.

    Unless we are prepared to let him sit out the next two seasons!

    I don't think he'll leave this summer but if he has a decent season I'm 100% he'll be gone next June

    I saw somewhere, that Wolves want him, and they are spending daft money.... Probably why Hammill was trying to talk him out of it

    I would not be surprised to see him gone sooner rather than later...

    I wouldn't be suprised if he went but minimum 3million plus sell on we should be asking for. And then look for another one in the mould to buy that's how it works int it.

    Heckingbottoms comments today make it sound like he's off once the amount we want for him is made. He didn't downplay the fact when asked if he thought Alfie was acting any different this year.

    You'd think that with the Stones money, we'd now be in a good position to not be held to ransom. I'd be looking for around £3.5 million, plus sell on clauses for Mawson.

    The way our recruitment strategy works we need to be getting big money for atleast one of Hourihane, Mawson, Winnall or Scowen.

    Due to contract lengths our biggest asset is Alfie and I think to make up for the likely loss of Connor or Winnall on the cheap or free we need to be selling Alf when his stock is highest.

    If anyone wants him now then they should be paying atleast 3-4 million with a sell on.

    If we stay in the division he could be worth a hell of a lot more. If we go down we could be looking at a million at best.

    It's a balancing act but I do think Alf is the one we will have to cash in on at some point it the next 3 windows.
