    Here's the post-Ipswich interview:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p043tn9l

I'm struggling to see specific mention of Yiadom but feel free to point out the relevant time point. "We've conceded two goals from throw-ins" is as close as he gets. That's not just down to the man nearest the throw. But please don't infer I'm disrespecting your knowledge.

Honestly your attempt to 'prove me wrong' with this is getting rather embarrassing.

    It wasn't in that interview.

Do you really think I'd make it up?

I'm fine I'm not the one trying to argue against facts.

There's no stress in this for me.

If it's about football then I'll discuss anything.

Not attempting to prove you wrong matey, just disagreeing with your opening premise and explaining what I based my opinion on. And it is just opinion - as is yours. Totally accept you might have heard a different interview - I don't subscribe to Player, for one thing.

It's not really opinion because Hecky has definitely publicly criticised 2 different mistakes from 2 different players naming them on both occasions and explaining each mistake.

Maybe back 2 less horses per month and subscribe to player. Then you won't miss anything.

In all seriousness (as you're referring to my number one sport) if I backed less horses per month I would actually be worse off!

"Hecky loves a public criticism" is an opinion - in my opinion!

Yes the title is an opinion. Probably a wrong one in fact. What manager would ever enjoy coming out and saying so and so made this mistake today.

But the fact that he's come out and done it twice in 2 games is very refreshing.

He isn't papering over any cracks.

To be fair, I did hear him criticise Payne, however it was the interviewer who mentioned Payne and Hecky replied something along the lines of it being all well and good but he left his player unmarked. It was clearly a rebuke against Payne.
    i picked up on it.

Without wishing to get tedious about it though (probably too late) - that's my point. It's not that Hecky was deliberately seeking to publicly criticise Payne (who after all is two competitive games into his league standard career). He was giving balance to the reporter's glowy comments about Payne's other efforts. My last word on this.
